何東珂｜Samuel Ho
Samuel joined Hunan Hong Yi Law Firm as a Chinese trainee-lawyer in May 2020. He holds three Master of Laws Degrees and qualified as a trainee solicitor of England & Wales in 2017. He specialises in law areas of commerci-al & corporate, intellectual property, and employment.
Samuel is a native Mandarin and Hunanese speaker, and he is fluent in English. He can also communicate in bas-ic Japanese, Cantonese, and Fujian/Taiwanese.
劉昱｜Yu Liu
Yu Liu is a senior partner in the Changsha office and he leads the practices of international legal affairs.
Prior to the admission as a Chinese lawyer in 2010, Yu Liu has spend more than 15 years serving in various large companies and responsible for management, human resource, and legal affairs. These invaluable experiences gave Yu Liu an insight regarding how a business entity is operated and what kind of support it truly demands to the legal team.
Yu Liu expertises in compliance and he has an excellent record over guiding his clients to establish and adopt effective compliance policies. Fuyong Ou is one lawyer of Hunan Hong Yi Law Firm and, also vice president, professor and doctoral supervisor of Law School of Hunan Normal University, Doctor of Law and Postdoc; executive director of China Society of Private International Law and International Economic Law; expert of Judge and Prosecutor Selection Committee of Hunan Province and legal expert database of Changsha Municipal Committee of CPC; Arbitrator of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission and Changsha Arbitration Commission. She routinely assists clients with legal due diligence, commercial contracts, market entry, partnerships, employment, and intellectual property protection issues. Clients often seek her advice on issues relating to partner selection, shareholder disputes, regulatory compliance and crisis management. She also has been actively involved in projects relating to both inbound and outbound Chinese investments.
